He has worked in the fit­ness indus­try for the past 20 years and in a vari­ety of dif­fer­ent capacities. First begin­ning as an ath­lete in sev­eral sports includ­ing triathlons which is when his train­ing and coach­ing career began. He attended East­ern Wash­ing­ton Uni­ver­sity and Pacific Lutheran Uni­ver­sity and received his bach­e­lors in Exer­cise Sci­ence and Ath­letic Train­ing. He has worked with the gen­eral pub­lic at cor­po­rate health clubs, spent 10 years at E.W.U., P.L.U., Auburn River­side and G.R.C.C. where he worked as an ath­letic trainer for the insti­tu­tions, and helped to start three sep­a­rate per­sonal training/small gym facil­i­ties, and has done work at the Insti­tute of Sports Med­i­cine and the Exer­cise Sci­ence Center.

His phi­los­o­phy to exer­cise and train­ing is more of a lifestyle approach. You don’t have to be a world class ath­lete to receive the ben­e­fits of train­ing. There are about 12 major deci­sions that we make in life and our health is one of them. If we want to live a happy and ful­filled life then we have to take care of ourselves….no one else will. Make a deci­sion to do some­thing good for your­self. Whether you are look­ing for a friendly account­abil­ity part­ner or mas­ter drill sergeant to whip you into shape for a big event then you have come to the right place.
