Jen fixed my left knee and my wrists! I had hurt my left knee while hiking. Some days the pain in my knee ranged from a dull ache to a sharp pain. For weeks I had trouble walking normally. After trying various things including seeing my doctor, Jen showed me some simple R-phase exercises targeted to my legs. Within two days, I was walking without pain and without a limp. Having had such success, I asked Jen to help me with my wrists. I spend over 8 hours a day at my computer. I had started using wrist guards to help me avoid carpal tunnel syndrome. Jen showed me another set of Z exercises targeted to the wrists and arms. The tightness and mild pain were gone the next day. I’ve since returned those wrist guards. To this day, I remain pain free and much more mobile. Thank you Jen.

When I went looking for a workout this summer that could accompany my martial arts training, I wanted something that would be an intensive cardio blast that would also build strength and stamina. Not only did I find this and more with kettlebells, I got the best possible introduction to their use from Jen. While I’m no stranger to a hard workout, I’ve never liked or been good with free weights, but Jen helped me get rolling fast and I was increasing weight and doing an intensive circuit with the class in no time. The workout totally kicked my butt (in a good way!) and without any of the focused cramping or tightness like that from traditional weights. Jen’s class is well-balanced with cardio and strength work and lower and upper body focus, and she’s always coming up with something new to keep it interesting. I’d definitely recommend her training.

I think I was born missing the exercise gene. My mother said I flopped over whenever they tried to get me to sit up and, trust me; its been downhill from there. Id much rather sit around with a box of chocolates than subject myself to the tortures of exercise. Tammy didn't have a lot to work with when I met her 2 years ago. At age 59, I was not only lazy and pudgy, but was also having joint pain and other impediments to movement. I now walk 30 minutes a day (and even enjoy it most of the time!), I faithfully do the stretches that keep me from freezing into the fetal position and Ive even taken off a few pounds and inches.
Tammy made this happen by respecting me and my needs and by her good humor and cheer (bless her, never fake cheerleading) as she gently guides me in the direction of better health and increased energy. She's not only highly skilled and knowledgeable in the field (I know there's a technical term); she is continually learning new aspects.

When we have a session, I know that she has done research into my specialized needs. I have osteoporosis, so we work on balance. I have back pain from arthritis, so we work on back strengthening exercises. I don't have lots of patience, so the routines are short. When I traveled for 3 weeks, she designed a regime which would work in motel rooms! Tammy Peterson is the best in the business!

After trying every pill and diet known to man, I finally found myself at 'Outrageously Fit' one morning a year ago. Tammy Peterson showed me the facility and explained their program. I decided to try it and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's very difficult for someone who has been defeated by weight for decades to suddenly find a way to become healthy and strong. But Tammy was there for me all the way. She is firm, she is funny and she knows her stuff. Even though I had stopped believing in myself, I soon realized I could believe in her. And she showed me how to start believing in myself again.

Now, a year later, and 45 pounds lighter, Tammy is teaching me how to work out at home and know that I am doing the exercises properly. She has researched equipment, located the places where equipment is sold and, generally, taught me how to succeed. It has really been life changing for me.

I can, with pleasure, recommend Tammy Peterson for your consideration if you are hoping to improve your health, and, indeed, your life.

When I began working out with Tammy Peterson I could only walk for about 10 minutes before I had to stop because of severe back pain. Since working with Tammy, my back no longer gives me any problems and I have now walked a 5K and 10K, which I never would have thought possible a year ago.

Tammy has been 85 pounds heavier and unfit too so she knows what its like. She's patient, motivating, and knows her stuff, and I'm very thankful to have found her. I have joined lots of gyms before but have never felt comfortable working out at them.

Outrageously Fit is not a gym so there is rarely more than one other person there at a time. You basically have the place to yourself along with your personal coach who is there to make your body the best it can be! I encourage anyone interested in improving their bodies and health to give Tammy a call today.

Outrageously Fit is the first place I have felt comfortable working out at. I have joined many gyms in the past but have never felt as comfortable and supported as I do at Outrageously Fit. I have been training with Tammy Peterson for ten months now, and I am consistently impressed with her patience, enthusiasm, and dedication as a personal trainer. Her work-outs are varied and fun, and she keeps me motivated to continue pursuing my fitness goals.

Approximately six months ago, following much chiding from my daughter, I began a series of weight-lifting and cardiovascular workouts with Amy Woods.

Because I suffer from both Peripheral Neuropathy as well as debilitating arthritis in my feet, I wanted someone who understood my body, not just in terms of a good workout but from a holistic medical point of view. I found what I was looking for and much more in Amy Woods.

She personalizes my workouts, leading me through strengthening exercises that she carefully monitors to be certain they do not tax my body in negative ways. Her R.N. experience, her vast knowledge in the health and fitness field as well as her personal caring ways, have provided me with the confidence to continue striving toward health.

Today, I can easily lift my body weight from the bottom of the bathtub with my arm strength. I couldn't do that six months ago.

A year ago I got focused and started working out on a regular basis. I made some progress, lost a little weight but wasn't really seeing any muscle definition or feeling any more fit. While I was consistently putting the exercise time in, I really didn't know how to make the most of my workouts. Lucky for me I was given Amy's name for massage therapy and soon found out that she was a personal trainer as well. I decided to give personal training a try. I mean if your car is broken down, you take it to a mechanic right? So it made sense that I needed to go to a fitness expert to get my body into shape.

I am so glad I did! Working with Amy has made ALL the difference in the world! In three months, I have seen amazing results! I have triceps that you can see (and trust me, they've never been seen before), I completed a 5k (running) and I have more energy and endurance than ever before. It's not magic, it's hard, focused work - which is why Amy's attitude, confidence, skill and encouragement are all so vital to the process. I could not have accomplished so much on my own. It took finding the right person to motivate, educate and coach me in order to see such success.

Amy has helped me to realize within myself the priceless gifts of strength, courage, endurance and confidence! This is much more than I'd dreamed of - having only had the goal of fitting into next summers' bathing suit when I'd started. Truth is, I'm enjoying this journey much more because it's changing my life for the better!

Thank you Amy!

Sue has a terrific knowledge base and years of experience in designing individualized fitness programs. As a result, she varies each workout to keep it challenging and interesting while her calm and encouraging manner insures steady improvement.

I have taken Sue's early morning fitness class for years. The class has from 4-6 members. Over the years we have become quite bonded. I this is partially due to Sue's relaxed style. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive. Sue is very aware of each student's abilities and individual needs. She knows just when to add a challenge or when to suggest we make a modification to avoid injury. This class works for me because I know that someone cares if I come or not. I am not just a name on the roster.
