Pilates is well known for devel­op­ing core strength, improv­ing pos­ture, flex­i­bil­ity, and mobil­ity of the spine. Increas­ing core mus­cle devel­op­ment is of pri­mary impor­tance as it will improve pos­ture, strength, flex­i­bil­ity, and mobil­ity of the spine! This will improve per­for­mance of your daily activ­i­ties or sports — and Pilates is fun.

Pilates for Moms
Do you want to work­out with other moms who all have a lot in com­mon? This class has a great rep­u­ta­tion for being fun and a good work­out! Pilates is the best way to strengthen and tone your core mus­cles. Dur­ing preg­nancy and after child­birth, no mat­ter how long ago you gave birth, your body has gone through numer­ous changes, includ­ing weak­en­ing and stretch­ing the abdom­i­nals and pelvic floor mus­cles, often stress­ing the back mus­cles, and tight­en­ing the front of the shoul­ders and chest mus­cles. This class incor­po­rates mat tech­niques and core con­di­tion­ing with fit­ness balls, dumb­ells and more.… to firm up those abs, legs, buns, and upper body mus­cles, burn calo­ries, and improve your pos­ture, flex­i­bil­ity, and mobility.
